Thomas Alan Waits who normally goes by the name of Tom Waits was born in 7th december 1949. He is and American singer songwriter, composer and actor. He is a multi talented man who has a distintive voice he has a trademark growl, he is known for incorporating pre-rock music in the jazz and blues music.
He has been nominated for numerous awards including a few oscars and a brit award!
